A few years ago, we felt the Lord was placing it on our hearts to step out in faith and start a medical clinic. We believed the Lord wanted this clinic to provide more than just to meet the physical, mental, and emotional needs of our patients. This was to be different. This clinic would provide an opportunity to share the love of Jesus to those who so desired. This clinic would be a light in a dark world to so many people who are sick, hurting, struggling with addiction, have past traumas, and who have lost a sense of purpose. 

 

Through prayerful consideration, we decided to step out in faith and bring this vision to fruition. We agreed ” Desert Springs” would be the name of our medical clinic. However, it was after we decided the name that we believe the Lord impressed this bible verse on our hearts. What this verse meant to us was that God would be doing something new through this clinic. The clinic would stand as a spring of refreshing to those who come through our doors. We have all been in seasons of life that feel like a desert. Many of the people who we care for are in their own “desert” and are seeking a refreshing. With Jesus as our cornerstone, our hope is that Desert Springs Medical Center, P.C. will serve as a spring in the desert for so many people.
